An icon of the Stetson brand for more than 100 years, The Last Drop from His Stetson, endures as a symbol of the American cowboys values of resourcefulness, compassion and humility. Weve partnered with renowned American blanket manufacturer Pendleton to reimagine Lon Megargees plainspoken masterwork as a special-edition throw blanket.
The original painting, which depicts a kindly cowboy kneeling to give his horse a drink of water from his upturned hat, has been transformed into a twin-size throw, using a three-color jacquard weaving technique and Pendletons legendary woolen looms. The wool face of the blanket is left unnapped for a sharp, crisp pattern, and cotton has been added to the warp for extra stability, along with a felt-bound edge. The result is a throw with rich color and heirloom qualitya bold centerpiece for any room.
Woven at Pendletons Oregon mill, before being finished at Pendletons mill in Washougal, Washington, each blanket is individually packaged in a Beaver State box and includes a Last Drop from His Stetson commemorative story card and custom sewn-on patch.
