The Village Hat Shop Hat Cleaning Sponge is the serious hatter’s tool of choice when cleaning surface spots on hats. Easily wipes away dirt, dust and grime. It is always used dry and cleans without chemicals. Like a pencil eraser, one carefully rubs the surface spot until it “balls up” and can be brushed away. Can be used on all shades of hats – for best results, use a separate sponge for each different color of hat.

Manufacturer Instructions for Use:

1. Always use dry.
2. Locate the soiled area and gently rub the sponge upon the spot. Any debris can be brushed into a trash receptacle.
3. When the surface of the sponge becomes clogged with dirt/grime, simply remove a layer by shaving with a razor blade or cutting off the section with a pair of scissors; or replace with a new sponge.
4. Do not wring out the sponge with water or clean it with any chemicals/cleansers.
