We don’t think there is a better wool felt bowler (or derby) in black out there! This style was created in 1850 as a hard hat for horseback riding while patrolling a game reserve by an English warden. In that tradition, this black Jaxon & James version of the bowler is a little stiffer than its competitors. And in true English Style, a little shorter than the later American versions. The 100% wool felt quality is impressive and the hat comes fully lined with the Jaxon & James logo in the tips. The hat is trimmed with a grosgrain ribbon with a bow finish and side feather.
